The photos are a bit offtopic for a food blog but hey-- it's my blog, my rules. Besides, isn't Moloka`i stunning?

Hi Alan,
Those are really beautiful photos of the Friendly Isle. I'm so jealous as it has truly been too long since I've been to Moloka'i. So what did you eat when you were there? Did you get bread from Kanemitsu?
The photos to great! I hope you had a great time, the food blog says a lot about you and it's really a life blog, don't you think?
Nice photo's Alan, really makes me miss home....
Reid- Nearly all my meals were homecooked this trip. I should have photographed some of the venison and `opihi we had, but didn't think of it until my plate had been licked clean. And yes, I did stop by Kanemitsu. You've anticipated my next post...
Gia- Coming from someone who knows as much about photography as you, that's high praise. Thanks! And yes, I think my blog is better when I invest it with pieces of my life.
Kirk- How often do you make it back?
Alan, beautiful photos! I've never been to Moloka`i. How long were you there? And what kind of camera did you use? Really beautiful... they must get the best kine opihi ova dea!
James, I was only on Moloka`i for about a week, but I'd like to go back. If nothing else, the `opihi were huge! The photos were taken with an Olympus C-50 (I think the C-60 is the current version of this model). It's a 5 megapixel model with a decent amount of control over the image, but is still small enough to discretely carry in the palm of my hand.
Hi Alan - Well I used to come "home" several times a year, but haven't been back in almost 5 years, amazing! I'm trying to schedule things so that I may be able to get home this year.
